About the program


Data Fellowship dives deep into how different functions operate within a successful project.
It will help you foster a value-driven approach to finding solutions, strengthen a culture of excellence, and discover your strengths to use them for growing into the job that fits you best. As a Data Fellow, you will become an active member of a team that is working on an ongoing project and learn first-hand what it takes to build impactful data solutions. Entrepreneurship and creativity is highly valued at Dalberg, so we also encourage Data Fellows to drive their own initiatives related to data for development. The fellowship program is 6 months long and full-time employment will be offered to the top performers.

The program is structured around 4 core pillars:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English … and ability to communicate your ideas and rationale effectively
Strong data intuition … and deep statistical knowledge
Ability to solve analytical problems using quantitative or systematic approaches …also, built or contributed to algorithms, data pipelines, design and delivery of full-stack applications.
(For technical track) Experience working with Python to solve analytical problems
… (For technical track) Comfortable with multiple programming languages like Java, JavaScript as well as scripting languages like SQL, HTML, CSS.
(For consulting track) Experience in commercial writing and building presentations … (For commercial track) Experience in leading ops, moderating forums or groups.
Relevant certification, degree or working experience … 0-2 years of experience working with digital solutions.
